We spent some time in Halifax and headed down to Peggy\u2019s Cove. This is one of the most photographed locations on the East Coast, and we were travelling with family, so I didn\u2019t initially want to take a lot of time to photograph the area. While my extended family and my kids were exploring around the Lighthouse, my wife suggested I head down to the harbour and town to get some pictures. I said there wasn\u2019t really any point, as it has been photographed so much, but she replied \u201cBut no one has done it in your way\u201d. Perhaps so, and I walked down from the lighthouse, and captured some of the best images of my career.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2190\" src=\"http:\/\/troyjohnstone.com\/blog\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Peggys_Cove_coast_water_20090911_292_tonemapped-Edit-Edit-600x439.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"439\" \/><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The sky was amazing that day. Peggy\u2019s Cove is near the flight path to Halifax\u2019s International Airport, and the contrails made great patterns in the sky.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/troyjohnstone.com\/blog\/2017\/09\/peggys-cove-nova-scotia\/peggys_cove_coast_water_20090911_353\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail wp-image-2193\"
