Why the pastel tones?<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: right\">1.<span style=\"font-size: 7pt;line-height: normal\">\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span>Why not?\u00a0\u00a0 &amp; \u00a0 2. Sometimes painting what we see without creative liberty is a great way to get out of your own rut<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-indent: -18.0pt\"><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0When in comes to creativity, there is always room to growth\u2026 when it comes to life, there is always room for growth\u2026 It is only if we decide to step outside of the boxes we have created for ourselves that we grow. Personally, the pastels tones took me back to the 80\u2019s and some of my first professional colour drawings and paintings. They also took me back to the \u201cAha\u201d moment when I realized I couldn\u2019t get rid of the \u201cArt\u201d bug, I just needed to experiment with textures and media. Perhaps that is why I chose pastel tones again\u2026 as a symbol of \u201cReset\u201d or perhaps because after years of painting I am not afraid of trying \u201con purpose\u201d what once I came across by accident.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-indent: -18.0pt\">\u00a0 \u00a0 May you give yourself the permission to get out of the boxes you\u2019ve created yourself so you can experience a bigger life or at least a different media.<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoListParagraph\" style=\"text-indent: -18.0pt\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\"><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Continuing the series of Alberta Skies, here is #2.
